We unfortunately had to cut our stay short because our son became unwell, but the way the team at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach looked after our family was exceptional.

Everyone we dealt with was warm, attentive and genuinely helpful, especially Taofik, Adi, Yeni and Siska. When we needed to return to Singapore unexpectedly, the team handled everything with great care and professionalism and went out of their way to make a stressful situation much easier for us.

What impressed us most was the genuine concern shown for our family. It never felt transactional, and that level of hospitality really stayed with us.

A huge thank you to the entire team. We did not get to enjoy the resort as much as we had hoped this time, but the kindness shown to us has given us every reason to come back.

The location is perfect as it’s just 10mins away from ferry. What amazed me was the service, everyone is so sincere and kind. Feel like they really care of the visitors. Big thanks to Weki or Weni in the pool bar, he made sure everyone has enough drinks under the big sun. Thanks to Ridho in the restaurant, he’s very careful and sincere as well. We went to SugerBeats for my husband’s birthday, one of the gentleman with glasses (sorry I can’t remember the name), thanks for taking care of us as well. Kept checking on us if all is good in place, he and the team had came out with birthday song and cake - really appreciate the effort! Overall, we feel the staff are really amazing there and will be happy to visit the hotel again.

The downside are - the shower in the room, the temperature turns very hot suddenly which is quite dangerous when we showered young kids. Also, the food choices in the restaurant are not many, could be better. - 21 Jul 2026 

The hotel has all the luxuries of a five star, with amazing expansive grounds and facilities. The incredibly professional and helpful staff make this property even more amazing. They have been going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the reception, to the restaurant, to the room service staff, they are just truly wonderful. And they genuinely seem to love kids. From feeding the fish to the activities at the kids club, kids even have a mini movie area in the kids club. We were here for a birthday and the staff made it a very special stay. If I could just ask the team for one thing, it would be to change the 2 hour policy of the kids club which they have recently introduced. The kids club is complimentary only for two hours per day and charged at 120k IDR per kid per hour after that. I hope you would keep the kids club complimentary for the hotel guests. I spent five days at this resort after finishing a jungle trek. I'm usually not a big fan of resorts, but this one was different. The property is surrounded by nature, beautifully maintained, and the staff—especially the housekeepers and waiters—are incredibly kind and always smiling. Huge kudos to all of them for making my stay so easy.
The resort has two swimming pools, a games room, and a very well-equipped gym, so there's plenty to enjoy during the day.

The only thing I felt was missing was a bit of evening atmosphere. After 9 p.m., the resort becomes very quiet. A little background music or the occasional event would make the evenings feel a bit more lively. - 11 Jul 2026 

From getting off the ferry to being dropped off again we couldn't fault anything.

The hotel was much bigger than the kind of places that we are used to so we apprehensive about how busy we would find it but it was amazing.

All the staff were so friendly and genuinely interested in making sure that we were looked after.

The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows, robes and slippers and it was serviced every day by the very polite and friendly staff. We had complimentary cakes delivered to our room every day which was a lovely touch and very tasty.

We were greeted in the restaurant by Yardi who showed us the menus and the buffet style catering of which there was a huge choice, so much that it was difficult to decide what to have. Everything was cooked to a high standard and unlike other buffet style meals that we've experienced everything was hot. Each morning Yardi would greet us and made us different types of tea to try and explained what health benefits they had, we really looked forward to that.

During the day we had cocktails around the pool at Strawbella and ate from the bar menu. We got to chat to the lovely staff there and without exception we felt that all the staff really enjoyed looking after us so I have to give a mention and a big thank you to Rangga, Wira, Risqi, Zunny and last but not least Triana.

From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the hospitality was truly exceptional. Every member of the team made us feel welcomed and genuinely valued.

A special thank you to the bus captain, front desk staff, restaurant servers, gardeners, and housekeeping team. Your professionalism, friendliness, and dedication did not go unnoticed. What impressed us most was that every staff member we met greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. Those simple gestures created such a welcoming atmosphere and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel itself is exceptionally well maintained. The facilities are clean and in excellent condition, the swimming pool is spotless and beautifully cared for, and the dining area is immaculate with a wonderful atmosphere. It's clear that every department takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards.

Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding service and hard work. Your passion for hospitality truly shines through. We recently stayed at Holiday Inn and was genuinely impressed not just with the facilities, but with the calibre of the team looking after us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we truly mattered.

What stood out most was the warmth and consistency of the service. No matter where we were in the hotel — the lobby, the corridors, the restaurant — staff greeted us with a genuine smile every single time. It felt natural and sincere, and that made all the difference.
At the concierge, Dhea was someone we could always rely on. She had a reassuring presence and handled every query with such ease and warmth.

The hotel’s WhatsApp concierge service was a standout feature — incredibly convenient and responsive. Yeni and Siska were prompt and efficient in attending to our messages, ensuring our requests were acted on quickly without us ever having to follow up.

We were travelling with elderly parents and had specific accommodation needs, and the team handled everything with such care and thoughtfulness. The team especially helpful in ensuring all arrangements were in place for our parents’ comfort, from wheelchair-accessible rooms to providing private transfers.

My daughter had a wonderful time too. she loved the kids’ activities, and the buggy rides to the beach were so convenient and fun.

The whole team made us feel genuinely looked after at every step, from checking in on us proactively and accommodating our needs without hesitation. We truly appreciated it and enjoyed our stay here. - 22 Jun 2026

> ​Excellent Service & Standout Staff: The service here is exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and fully understood all of our requests. A huge special mention to Yardy, who was incredibly friendly, fantastic with our kid, and took wonderful care of our needs during meal times!
> ​Seamless Checkout: They went above and beyond by having our ferry boarding tickets ready for us at checkout, which saved us precious time and hassle at the ferry terminal.
> ​Fantastic Food & Dining: The food was great, and we were incredibly pleased to find excellent vegetarian options available, making dining hassle-free.
> ​Loads of Activities: There was never a dull moment for both kids and adults. The resort features a great game room, remote control cars for the little ones, and cycles you can use to explore the property.

Spent 5D4N with family at the resort.

During the booking process, we'd informed the resort of our requests. Windy, who is the Cluster Reservation Manager, replied my email and had went above and beyond to render great assistance to ensure that they were met. All in all, the booking process was seamless and impressively helpful.

Upon check-in, our suite is clean and furnishings are well-maintained.
Being connected to Hotel Indigo's restaurant is a plus-point as that gave us option on our meal choices.

If I am to nit-pick, there will be 2 points I hope they could improve on.

Firstly, the Mangrove Kids Club is only limited to 2 hours of complimentary playtime. Many of the resorts we had visited allowed kids to stay the entire day without paying the extra fee. That would great for the kids to have more time to play with their new friends and also allow the parents to spend some relaxing time at the pool knowing that their kids are in good hands.

Secondly, it would be the improvement of choice of buffet dishes at Warong Pak Lagoi. The choice of buffet dishes were similar during the 5 days and our family skipped most of them as it appeared to be repeated.

Overall, I would rate the stay as a 4.5 over 5, and it certainly did not disappoint. - 16 Jun 2026
