What it is
Natra Bintan launched in August 2019 under the Marriott brand of hotels (Previously The Canopi Resort Bintan) is undoubtedly the most popular resort on the island right now. It’s a unique ‘glamping’ (glamorous camping) stay with a huge crystal lagoon in the compound that offers various water activities. Our basic package includes a stay with breakfast, 2-way ferry tickets, and 2-way land transfers. You could add an optional boat ride in the crystal lagoon and a 60-min body massage or Mangrove Tour. Alternatively, you could add a city tour that comes with lunch and body massage.
Where It Is
Situated on the northern part of the island, Natra Bintan is a mere 5-min car ride away from the BBT (Bandar Bentan Telani) Ferry Terminal. Given the fact that it takes less than 1 hour of ferry ride from Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bintan’s BBT Ferry Terminal, it cannot get any more convenient than this to get away from busy Singapore!

When To Stay
Natra Bintan, just like all the resorts in Bintan, charges more for the weekend than the weekday. So if you have some flexibility with your schedule, consider going on a weekday. Although it has a huge crystal lagoon, the common areas like the restaurant (there’s only 1) and the walkway are pretty restricted. So brace yourself for a little discomfort if you were to go on a weekend. Also, kindly take note of the peak surcharges that are applicable on public holidays. UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Stayed at Garden Tent which is one of the newest tents as per Bintan Getaway consultant. Rooms are huge, from what I know, can fit in 4 person at any 1 point of time with an extra bed & sofa bed. Bedroom suite in room is also huge, but it’s partly open concept so do expect insects flying in and out of the toilet while you are enjoying your bath!!! 😀

Canopi Resort is DA Best!
As what the title implies, I never regretted staying here. Canopi Resort is one of the most unique resorts in South East Asia. Rooms are shaped like a tent and each are airconditioned and you have your own private toilet.
My kids loved the crystal lagoon so much that we are going to plan our next getaway here again soon!!

Treasure Bay Cafe ...
The accommodation is fabulous. He bought the 4 cake Lapis (500gm) for Treasure Bay cafe (BCL) before going home. We were shocked that the cakes were mouldy and inedible. It was not freshly baked – was disappointed by the service.
