*Woooonderful stay! Excellent service*

It was a short stay with the Residence Bintan. Amazing experience, especially to the warmth and attentiveness from all the staffs. High level of services shown since the booking and throughout our stay.
Could not remember all names, but some here that came across to our memory.
At the check-in process smooth assistance by Gian and excellent buggy service from Zico.
An attentive and care shown by an offer for umbrella during rain by Wulan, if not mistaken.
Enjoyed the time at The Earth Basket after a rain shower. Memorable moment to our daughter with Diva and a tour at the farm.
In a crowded breakfast hour, an attentive gesture from Agum, the Kopi Tarek corner, to our daughter who has stomach discomfort after a multiple session of swimming. Very sweet approach with hot ginger. Thank you. Plenty choices of food during breakfast!
A good chat at the Pool Bar with Giri, after a session of outdoor games and waiting for our order.
Not to forgot the quick response from Housekeeping, Agus, to our needs is unmatched.
Even during farewell at the lobby, the warm hospitality are shown with the cookies and sincere waves of goodbye. Excellent service!

Clean and amazing beach, hotel rooms with strong aircon and clean sheets. They even give you a bike that's placed in front of your hotel room to cycle all over the place. Amazing things to do, like water sports, beach walking, paintball and a games room with so much to do ex: chess, mahjong, table tennis and pool. Tip: go to the beach before sunrise( roughly reach 5.40 best) and you will see such low tides you can explore such a big area of the ocean and see a breathtaking sunrise. - 19 Jun 2026 

We have just finished a 7 night stay at The Residence Bintan and have had a fabulous time. All of the staff were great.

Our beachfront pool villa was amazing. Immaculately clean, including the lovely pool and had everything we needed plus extra nice touches like bug and fly sprays, and robes. We also love the resort’s attitude towards sustainability and their Earth Garden.

Overall we had a lovely, relaxing time so thank you to everyone who made that possible.

Away from city. Secluded area. But has what u need all at the resort. Didnt leave the resort during my 2 night stay. Room were great , food were nice.

Special shoutout to danny from dining room for the warm and friendly conversation we had while serving us for breakfast and dinners.

2 bicycle provided while u can still request for buggy to transport u from room to swimming pool , beaches and restaurant.

The infinity pool were clean , overseeing the beach.

Had a truly wonderful stay at The Residence Bintan. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—warm, attentive, and very thoughtful. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and went above and beyond to make our experience special.

We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, a beautiful floating high tea, and even a complimentary late check-out, which made our stay even more memorable. The resort itself is peaceful, luxurious, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Just came back from a four day stay at The Residence Bintan! Highly recommend this place for a chill/relaxing holiday. The room was luxurious (especially the large toilet!) and very very private. The service was also impeccable - everyone is so friendly, and the staff gave us daily updates on the weather and activities available. We were also offered a free upgrade on our last night although we did not take up the offer.

A few minor downsides, although they didn’t faze me much - the public beach for guests is quite small. But I preferred being at the pool anyway, so that was a non-issue for me. The resort is also a bit far from the ferry terminal compared to other resorts, but there’s a complimentary (albeit a little bumpy) shuttle bus to and fro. Once you’re there it really feels like you’re on your own private island 🙂

That said, all in all, the positives outweigh the negatives by MILES. Will definitely come back here again!! - 07 Jun 2026 

I had a wonderful three-day escape at The Residence Bintan, a place where time seemed to slow down just enough to let you breathe again.

The journey from the ferry terminal took about 80 minutes, but the warm welcome of a cold towel and refreshing water made the transition feel effortless and thoughtful from the very beginning.

My ocean-view villa struck the perfect balance between convenience and seclusion. I could slip into my private plunge pool, cycle to a nearby restaurant or pool bar whenever I wished, and still retreat into the quiet solitude I had come seeking. It was the kind of place that invites reflection.

My favorite moments were the simplest ones: riding a bicycle beneath swaying palms, feeling the sea breeze against my skin, listening to the rhythm of the waves and the chorus of birds overhead. The resort grounds are far more expansive than I expected, making every walk or ride a small discovery in itself.

What truly elevated the experience was the people. The hotel manager was attentive, genuine, and welcoming, and every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and gracious. Communication via WhatsApp was seamless and prompt throughout my stay. When I mentioned that I needed to leave for the ferry at 6 a.m., they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box with fruit and croissants so I would not start the day hungry.

The moment that stayed with me most happened at the very end. As my van pulled away, I happened to glance back and saw a member of the front desk staff still standing there, waving goodbye until the vehicle disappeared from sight. He did not know whether I would notice. He was simply doing it anyway. At 6am.

To me, true hospitality is found in the gestures guests may never see. It lives in the quiet details, the moments without applause. The Residence Bintan delivered that kind of hospitality from the first welcome to the final farewell, and that is what made the stay memorable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 02 Jun 2026 

Stayed for the second time around, and this time, i was able to enjoy the bay.

I would like to deeply appreciate the Top 1 most hospitable in our Stay.

Check in: Wanda, our Driver, from tanjung pinang ferry terminal to the resort, this person was all smiles.

Check out: our baggy driver then to driving us back to the ferry, again was all smiles.

I mean, this guy deserves a raise!

Second, one of the waiters in the breakfast dining, Dani is his name, upon our 1 hour of stay, he is an excellent and good conversationalist. Great and amazing person who have accommodated us.

Third is Oca? I think, good guy, upon chrck out, had to remind us of everything. Again, smile makes hospitality.

Loved everything about The Residence - Bintan! The beachfront villa was great, private, huge, amazing beach view, clean pool, luxurious feel. The resort amenities were great, particularly the multiple dining options and multiple activities to do with kids. The transport from the ferry was easy and comfortable (we appreciated the car sea for our toddler). Getting around the resort was easy and pleasant. The food in the restaurants was of a good quality. The cot provided for our baby was good and clean - further, without asking a baby bath was also provided! Will absolutely return. - 18 May 2026
