Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

Me and family had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Wish I could name all the good people we've met during our stay that make our holiday a memorable one. We stayed as a group of 14 guests occupying 10 rooms and had a wonderful experience overall.

A special mention goes to Duty Manager Gaby Jasmine, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Although there were some issues with our room arrangements upon arrival, Gaby handled the situation professionally and efficiently, ensuring everything was sorted out for our group.

What impressed us most was her attentiveness and genuine care for the guests. She remained approachable, proactive and always willing to help, which made a big difference to our overall experience.

The hotel itself is well located, comfortable and a great choice for a relaxing getaway in Bintan. Combined with the excellent service we received, it made for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff—they were all exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. Everyone greeted us with a smile, which made us feel genuinely valued throughout our visit.

Breakfast was enjoyable, and I especially loved the turmeric porridge. The breakfast staff were always cheerful and sincere, with a special mention to Jenni for her outstanding hospitality.

On our last morning, we were pleasantly surprised when the chef personally presented us with a complimentary cake decorated with chocolate icing to thank us for staying at the hotel. It was a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made our departure even more memorable.

There are just a few areas that could be improved. The swimming pool could have been cleaner, and it would have been great if the pool bar had been open during our stay. We also visited during low tide, so a lot of seaweed had washed onto the beach, making it less enjoyable. While this is, of course, a natural occurrence and beyond the hotel’s control, it’s worth noting for future guests.

The only consistent issue we experienced was that the housekeeping team forgot to replenish the small towels each day, so we had to request them repeatedly.

Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the comfortable accommodations and the wonderful hospitality of the staff. The team’s genuine warmth and the thoughtful farewell gift left a lasting impression. With a few small improvements, the experience would have been even better, and we would be happy to return. - 18 Jul 2026

Room is spacious and clean. Friendly staff , helpful and welcoming. Yummy breakfast with variety of food freshly prepped food and beverages such as fresh juice, freshly brewed coffee. Nice size of pools and gym. We couldn't really enjoy swimming in the sea due to many live jellyfish at the beach there. - 26 Jun 2026

Staff, rooms and services best in Bintan. Only location far from Tanjong Pinang. Beaches and sea water shallow when low tide good for kids safe too. Walking distance to lagoi shopping ( found Mustafa departmental stores

Our stay was wonderful from the very beginning of our booking. Every enquiry was replied promptly & they try their best to cater to our requests as I was travelling with a big family.

The moment we stepped off the complimentary shuttle bus, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Each staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and incredibly prompt in providing information and assistance.

The check-in process was seamless, and throughout our stay, the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their professionalism, efficiency, and welcoming attitude made us feel valued as guests.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Kids Club. As we experienced some wet weather during our trip, it was a perfect indoor space for my children to play, stay entertained, and burn off some energy. The staff there were exceptionally caring, attentive, and wonderful with the children, giving us peace of mind while the kids enjoyed themselves. It truly enhanced our family experience.

We also appreciated the hotel's convenient location. It was within walking distance of Mustafa Centre & Lagoi Bay beach, making it easy for us to shop, grab essentials, and explore the area at our own pace. - 22 Jun 2026
