The Sanchaya Bintan Package

We had such a relaxing and memorable 3D2N stay at The Sanchaya. From the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal, the experience was seamless, with the attentive staff taking care of every detail.

We stayed at the Lawan Thai Villa overlooking a pond, and were delighted to spot kingfisher and fruit bat. The breakfast was consistently good, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the Thai cuisine was for both lunch and dinner.

We also enjoyed the resort activities. The massage session was incredibly relaxing, and we had fun doing paddle boarding and cycling to the nearby lake. The cycling route was around 7km and made for a nice morning / evening activity.

Overall, The Sanchaya is the kind of place where you can slow down and unwind. A great mix of comfort, nature, and thoughtful hospitality. We would definitely love to come back again. - 17 Jun 2026 

Absolutely stunning property. Everything from the furniture, the bedding to the facilities are top class. We loved the free activities such as Padel, paddle boarding and bikes which we took to ride around the lake.

Breakfast was delicious and all food around the hotel was incredible and surprisingly decent value.

The service is perhaps the best I’ve received anywhere in the world starting with the personal welcome from the general manager, Greg. All staff were very attentive and everyone knew our personal needs extremely quickly. You get special treatment when you arrive and leave from the ferry - they make you feel like a true VIP.

Unparalleled in Bintan. We had the best stay here in Nov 2025 (pardon the late review!!!) Impeccable and attentive service right from the ferry terminal. Compliments especially to Budi, Chef Sandi, Acting manager Madon, Dian, Hadi the driver, Medan for the warm hospitality, personalised service and most delicious food (especially the sop buntut and Soto batawi). Absolutely sensational and restful holiday destination. We booked a short 3 day stay for a long weekend and it delivered the perfect recharge. First, the service is really thoughtful and kind. Greg the manager greeted us personally and runs a very tight ship with a motivated senior team who take extra care, pride and dedication in their work. This attitude filters through the resort to the drivers, the restaurant staff like Elma, Joanne and Josua, and Yani at the ferry terminal. Second, the food was delicious - we loved the fresh baked goods and the Thai food. The Indonesian food was very spicy! Third, the spa was delightful - two very dedicated staff who made sure we were incredibly relaxed. Some other customers were incredibly rude to the staff but they handled it with aplomb. We had the most wonderful time at the Sanchaiya resort for three nights. Everything was beyond our expectations. Such a beautiful place with amazing view, beach, food and service. Our driver Mr Hadi, chef Mr Sandi, sommelier Mr Ron, yoga instructor Ms Devi and all the artisans were so kind and did everything to make our stay unforgettable! Came to celebrate a birthday and had the most amazing stay with Sanchaya 😊 The staff were the loveliest and we enjoyed the room, amenities and food. There are absolutely no notes. This weekend I got to visit the Sanchaya with my mom and we had the most special stay. The entire estate, suite, and staff were amazing and they went above and beyond. Greg, Ricky, Devi, Lina, Ron, Siti & everyone else treated us like we were family. We're already planning a trip back, which can't come soon enough. - 11 Mar 2026 

What an amazing place! We visit a lot of amazing hotels and resorts across the world but Sanchaya was a unique and stand out experience for us. From interior design, to rooms, to incredible staff, to atmosphere, food and drinks everything was simply amazing. Without any question I would rate it as a top 3 experience for us. Ever. Globally.
